Studio Eric Price is a New York-based graphic design and programming practice working primarily in art, culture, architecture, and comedy. We favor forms with a few loose ends on them – enough fraying to make familiar things harder to overlook. Identity systems and their applications are developed together, with websites, print, motion, and sound providing different ways to work out the same language. The categories are useful for making a list. There is considerably more overlap in making the work.

There are also objects here, both physical and digital, practical and impractical, alongside the commissioned work, without a separate entrance for the work nobody asked for. Some can be downloaded; others require shelf space. A file is a comparatively tidy way to store an object. Producing it introduces the question of where to put it.

Price’s prior experience includes roles at the Walker Art Center, Project Projects, Wkshps, and Brooklyn Museum.
